CPQ & Lead-to-Cash
Quote-to-cash breaks quietly: a pricing rule drifts, an order is activated twice, revenue is booked wrong. I design and repair Salesforce CPQ setups so quotes, orders and billing agree with each other.
What's included
- Multi-tier and multi-region pricing and discounting
- Product, bundle and price rule design
- REST-driven order activation and downstream hand-off
- Apex re-architecture of slow or fragile CPQ customisations
- Quote and contract document generation
- Lead-to-cash flow from first lead through to invoicing
How I work
Trace the money
I follow a deal from lead to cash across Salesforce and the systems around it, and note where numbers stop matching.
Fix the model first
Products, price books and rules are cleaned up before any code is written, because most CPQ problems start in the data model.
Re-architect carefully
Where Apex is the bottleneck, I restructure it in small, tested steps so quoting keeps working while it improves.
When this is the right fit
- Quotes take too long to produce or need manual correction
- Pricing differs by region or customer tier and the rules have become unmanageable
- Orders reach finance or the ERP late, twice, or not at all
- A CPQ rollout needs to expand to new countries
Common questions.
Can you work on an existing CPQ implementation?
Yes. Much of this work is stabilising and re-architecting a CPQ setup that already exists, not building one from scratch.
Do you handle the integration to finance or ERP systems?
Yes. Order activation and hand-off to downstream systems is part of lead-to-cash, using REST APIs and, where it fits, MuleSoft.
